Around 70% of the fresh distillate aged in first-fill bourbon casks (200 liters) of famous American Buffalo Trace Distilleries, Heaven Hill and Jim Beam. In addition, ex-sherry casks (Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez) were preferably filled by the renowned Bodegas y Tonelería José Miguel Martín y from Huelva.
