The vintage 1989 21 years Bruichladdich Black Art 02.2 Limited Edition Islay Single Malt Scotch whisky was matured for 21 years in selected American Bourbon and European wine oak casks in the old warehouse and the result is a concentrated, intense and complex single malt that impresses with its wonderful flavours.
Since the reopening of Bruichladdich by the independent bottler Murray McDavid in the year 2000 - and above all under the management of Jim McEwan - the distillery and its whisky have shone like never before.
