An rare and old bottling of 1960 vintage Glenburgie from independent bottler Gordon and Macphail as part of the Connoisseurs Choice series with golden screw cap. Carrying the classic map label, we estimate this was bottled in the 1980s. An exceptional single malt for connoisseurs, collectors and lovers of first-class old style Scotch whiskies!
- Aroma: Light and fresh with subtle hints of bees wax polish. Delicate sweet Sherry aromas emerge and hints of ripe peaches and apricots.
- Palate: Oily and gentle. Powerful, velvety texture
- Finish: long and balanced. Slight sweetness and some smoke remains.
