Glenfarclas 1959 42 Years The Historic Edition No. 4 Sherry Hogsheads Christmas Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 46.0% - a limited edition of 240 bottles of a special rare whisky
The very rare Glenfarclas Vintage 1959 The Christmas Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky comes from the limited edition of The Historic Reserve collection and was produced in an edition of only 240 bottles. The No. 4 of Glenfarclas Historic Edition is the fourth company handlebar George S. Grant dedicated (1923). For Edition 4 special Oloroso Sherry Hogshead were selected at Glenfarclas, this should be more than 42 years later chosen for this special whisky and filled into bottles. It was around the barrel premium numbers:. 3232, 3233, 3234 and 3235, all of which were filled in 1959 on December 25 as Christmas Malt. This particular selection was bottled on 24 June 2002 and gave this very special and unusual Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky. The bottle comes in a wooden box with nosing glas, bar towl and the certificate. On a cold filtration and adding dye was dispensed as usual. A great Glenfarclas old style single malt whisky with exceptional color and rarity in excellent condition for connoisseurs, enthusiasts and collectors.
Glenfarclas (Gaelic about: valley of green grass) is located in an agricultural area below the slopes of Ben Rinnes in the northeast of Speyside, founded by Robert Hay in 1836 and obtained in 1844 to burn the license to whisky. 1865 distillery was sold to John Grant, whose descendants still own the distillery and this renovated 1896th In the years 1960 and 1976 the distillery to two to six today stills has been extended, which are the largest in Speyside.
