A rare vintage 2000 14 years-old Glenfarclas Single Cask Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the limited Family Casks Winter 2015 series and a special bottling of a selected refill sherry butt. For this bottling Glenfarclas filled a selected sherry butt with cask no. 4075 in the year 2000, were allowed to mature for 14 years in the cask and was bottled in a limited edition of only 650 bottles on 25th August 2015 at cask strength 58.5% vol. for the winter-release W15.
The world-famous and unique single cask whiskies from the Glenfarclas Family Casks series contains selected single cask bottlings from various vintages, spanning 54 years without gaps since the early 1950s and is an exquisite collection of the best single casks from the old cask cellar of the Glenfarclas distillery. The Glenfarclas Family Casks series was launched in 2006 and for each vintage only the most select casks were chosen to represent the best of its year.
