Since 1895 Gordon and MacPhail has worked with the majority of Scotlands distilleries and today, matures, selects and bottles some of the worlds finest and rarest Single Malt Schotch Whisky. One of Gordon and Macphail s long-aged Glenlivet which represent the best-value long-aged sherried Speysides available. Thankfully, Glenlivet is one of those special Speysiders (like Glenfarclas, Mortlach and Macallan) that is capable of withstanding immense oak ageing without tasting like a pile of wet sawdust.
- Nose: Sherry influences, with a hint of liquorice and toasted almonds. A stewed figs fruity edge remains.
- Palate: Sherry aromas with a delicate fruity edge - cooked figs. Hints of mixed spices and a touch of milk chocolate emerge.
