The 18-year-old Glenlivet Allargue Speyside Single Malt Scotch whisky is a single cask whisky selected by the master distiller and was bottled after 18 years of maturation in an oak cask with the cask no. 96421 in January 2016 in the limited single cask edition in an edition of 660 bottles without the addition of colourants and chill filtration at cask strength 59.33% vol.
Fresh on the nose with sweet lemon sorbet with creamy vanilla and a hint of warming cinnamon. The flavour is full, with delicious aromatic honey and sweet apricot jam, perfectly balanced with delicate notes of hazelnut and oak in the background. The finish is long, dry and accompanied by a fine sweetness.
