This rare vintage 1987 22 year old Laphroaig Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky was matured for 22 years in an ex-bourbon cask with the cask-no. 5093 and was bottled in the Jack Wiebers Old Train Line limited edition range as an independed bottling in an edition of only 214 bottles without chill filtration and added colouring at cask strength 50.2% abv and every bottle was labelled by hand and individually numbered.
The 22 year old Laphroaig Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky shows almost perfectly the creamy, smooth and sweet flavours from the selected American ex-bourbon barrel. This rare Laphroaig single malt has a scent of peat with lots of minerals, peach, orange and cappuccino, followed by the special Islay flavours.
