Yamazaki 18 Years Bill Amberg Limited Edition Japanese Single Malt Whisky 43.0% Vol. - one of 500 bottles from the Jim Murray award-winning Yamazaki distillery in Japan!
A very rare 18-year-old Yamazaki Japan single malt whisky from the Bill Amberg limited edition, which was presented in the year 2015 with a luxurious handmade leather case by the world-famous British leather designer Bill Amberg in a limited edition of 500 bottles for the 90th anniversary of Yamazaki. The special leather case is made from soft calfskin and features an oak clasp. The pattern on the outside is a laser-cut scan of the inside of one of Suntory's oak barrels.
The 18 years Suntory Yamazaki Japan Single Malt Whisky is made from only the finest and most original ingredients. Ingredients that are transformed into a wonderfully harmonious single malt whisky during the skilful distillation process. Its soft water comes from the springs of the River Hakushu and the wood in which it matures was previously home to fine sherry wine. The taste of the dark red whisky also shines with delightful sherry and chocolate flavours, which make it a very special experience for the taste buds and earned it 88.5/100 points in Jim Murray's Whisky Bible back in 2010. This was followed by further awards such as Best Whisky: Double Gold 2008-2013 at the San Francisco World Spirit Competitions, ISC Trophy 2012, Trophy at the International Wine and Spirit Competition 2011, World Whisky Awards 2015 as Best Japanese Single Malt Whisky and many more. Suntory's best-known whisky brands are Yamazaki, Hibiki and Hakushu. An 18-year-old Yamazaki Japan single malt, which impresses above all with its delicious sherry and chocolate flavours and is now one of the most sought-after bottlings from Suntory Yamazaki.
A particularly rare collector's item of the legendary 18 years Yamazaki Japan Single Malt from the Bill Amberg limited edition in a luxurious leather bag by the famous London leather designer Bill Amberg and dustbag in Yamazaki design, which sold out within a very short time. To celebrate the distillery's 90th anniversary, an edition of 500 exclusive leather bags was produced exclusively for the 18 years Yamazaki Japan Single Malt Whisky by the Bill Amberg leather manufactory and was not officially available in Germany.
