A rare old bottling of the coveted Aberlour A bunadh Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the famous A bunadh limited bottling series, which was bottled in the year 2008 with the old equipment as batch no. 26 without the addition of colorants and chill filtration at cask strength 60.6% ABV in a limited edition. The magnificent Aberlour A bunadh Batch No. 26 Speyside Single Malt was matured exclusively in 5 to 25-year-old Spanish Oloroso sherry butt casks, which give it its deep mahogany colour and exceptional character. The word A Bunadh comes from Gaelic and can be translated as authentic or original.
The Aberlour A bunadh Batch No. 26 Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky presents wonderful aromas of sugared cherries, cocoa, vanilla, wood and dark chocolate on the nose, the taste is sweet and smooth with chocolate, dark fruits, apricot kernels, ginger, vanilla and oak, the finish is long, warming and sweet with cinnamon, cocoa, vanilla and wood - a great and old Aberlour Single Malt Scotch Whisky!
