The 25-year-old Ardbeg Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky is now the oldest bottling from the Ardbeg core range, bottled after 25 years of maturation in selected oak casks without the addition of colourants and chill filtration at 46.0% vol. and is, after many years, a true successor to the almost legendary Lord of the Isles Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the early 2000s.
This exquisite Ardbeg Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky Whisky was announced at the end of 2020, the particularly sought-after examples from the first release / batch no. 1 were on sale at the beginning of the year 2021 and sold out within a short time. It has spent its maturation in a small selection of casks from the 1990s, from a time when the future of the distillery was extremely uncertain and it was on the verge of closure.
To emphasise the exclusivity of this special Ardbeg Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky visually, the exquisite single malt has been provided with an extravagant gift box with elaborate appliqués and a particularly noble silver-black shimmering Ardbeg bottle design - the neck of the bottle is adorned with a cap in silver with a Scottish knot pattern.
The 25 years Ardbeg Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky convinces with the typical characteristic as well as smoky Ardberg characteristics and is considered the ultimate and majestic bottling from the cult distillery Ardbeg.
