A very rare vintage 1974 25 years-old Balvenie Single Barrel Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, distilled on 2nd August 1974 and after more than 25 years maturing in a bourbon barrel with the cask no. 10142 personally selected by Balvenie malt master David Stewart and hand bottled on 12th September 2000 in a limited edition of only 250 hand-numbered bottles. All bottles have been bottled without the addition of dyes or chill filtration and are labelled with the cask number and the individual bottle number. The limited annual editions of the Balvenie single barrel edition are of exceptional quality, usually sold out within a short period of time and are now regarded by connoisseurs and collectors as a much sought-after single cask bottling.
