This old and rare vintage 1980 bottle of the Balvenie single barrel single malt scotch whisky is one of no more than 300 yielded by single cask No. 13275 matured at the Balvenie distillery fot at least fifteen years and bottled by hand at 18. January 1996. Although no two casks are the same, and therefore won t produce an identical single malt, the casks are carefully selected by Balvenie s Malt Master David Stewart and feature a consistent, rich, spiced character, complimented by hints of elegant oak. This single barrel filling of Balvenie emphasizes and shows the influence of the barrel on the taste of a whisky, each of them is unique and strictly limited. All bottles were filled without the addition of dyes and without chill filtration and are marked with the barrel number and the individual bottle number. The limited edition of the Balvenie Single Barrel edition is of exceptional quality. They are usually sold out within a short period of time, and the single cask bottlings are now widely coveted among connoisseurs and collectors. An old and collectible Highland Malt from Balvenie!
