This fine 1992 vintage 16-year-old Bowmore Limited Vintage Release Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky was matured for six years in bourbon casks and then for a further ten years in selected Chateaux Lagrange wine casks from Bordeaux. It was bottled in the year 2008 without the addition of colourants and non-chill filtered at cask strength 53.5% ABV and is the fourth bottling in a series of four limited edition vintage Bowmore single malts from the years 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1992 using different types of casks.
A beautiful classic vintage 1992 16 years Bowmore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky with fine peat smoke, red berries and notes of sugared almonds and butter toffee. A rare old bottling for connoisseurs, discerning whisky collectors and lovers of fine old Scotch whisky - now rarely found!
