This rare limited edition Bunnahabhain Islay single malt whisky, one of only 833 bottles, has been exclusively crafted for the Feis Ile 2016. This exquisite single malt was originally filled to bourbon casks, tradionally used at Bunnahabhain, before being left to slowly mature in the warehouse. After 9 years the spirit was carefully filled in to specially selected Pedro Ximenez casks and returned to sea facing Warehouse No. 7 to sleep, undisturbed, for a further 3 years. The result is a side of Bunnahabhain that is not often revealed. Pure in colour and strength this rich and complex single malt delivers a wonderful combination of intense peat and sherry sweetness that rewards and delights.
