This vintage 1996 Clynelish Highland single malt whisky comes from a single Cask No. 6511 of a refill sherry butt, selected by Kirsch Whisky personally at Signatory Vintage, and has been added to the Cask Seasons Edition for the fall of 2015 spring at cask strength 49.9% ABV without addition of dyes and without chill filtration exclusively in a limited edition of 676 bottles. After distillation, the distillate spent more than 18 years of slow maturation in a refill sherry butt before it was finally being bottled. A very successful Highland single cask scotch whisky with well-integrated fruity aromas, typical distillation character and a deep copper in color - a remarkable Clynelish!
