This very special and exclusive 25-year-old Dalmore Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is an exceptional blend of whiskies and continues the Dalmore Distillery's tradition of using special casks for maturation and refinement. The 25 years Dalmore Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky spent its 25 years of maturation initially in selected American white oak bourbon casks, before being transferred by hand to 25-year-old Palomino Fino sherry casks from Spain and selected American first-fill bourbon casks from the 1980s. The noble 25 years Dalmore Highland Single Malt was then matured in tawny port pipes. The finish in port wine casks has influenced the taste just as much as the sophisticated maturation process. The so-called triple finish with its demanding and unusual maturation has given the 25-year-old Dalmore Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky a harmonious character with exceptional substance and an almost unbelievable richness of nuances.
