This exclusive and magnificent vintage 1992 24-year-old Glendronach Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky was distilled on 5th June 1992, matured for over 24 years in an exquisite Oloroso sherry butt with cask no. 226, and was bottled in Septmber 2016 in the Glendronach single cask limited release batch no. 14 series without the addition of colorants or chill filtration at cask strength 58.4% ABV in a limited edition of only 554 individually hand-numbered bottles.
Since the year 2009, the Glendronach master distiller has been selecting a handful of individual casks of outstanding quality from the Glendronach warehouses and bottling them for special retailers and renowned whisky merchants in the Glendronach limited release single cask bottling series. The vintage 1992 24 years Glendronach Oloroso Sherry Butt No. 226 Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is powerful and complex, revealing intense sherry, oak notes, dates, chocolate, marzipan and cinnamon on the nose. The flavour is deep with dark fruits, dark chocolate, espresso, plums, Oloroso sherry and old oak.
