This rare and stunning vintage 1993 25 year old Glendronach Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky at natural cask strength 57.7% vol. was distilled on 19th March 1993, matured for over 25 years in an exquisite sherry butt with cask no. 698 until its bottling straight from the cask on 8th September 2018 and was only available at the distillery as an exclusive Distillery Managers Single Cask Hand-Filled Edition in limited edition for visitors on site. Each bottle has been hand signed with the distillation date, bottling date, cask type, cask number, individual bottle number and the distillery manager s signature.
The Glendronach 1993 25 years Sherry Butt Cask No. 698 Distillery Managers Cask Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky is very rich and complex, powerful and balanced with heavy sherry, on the nose it shows vanilla, orange liqueur, coffee, brown sugar, molasses, dried fruit, spices, sherry wood, herbs, tobacco, prunes, dates and dark chocolate, the flavour is oily and creamy with fine sweetness, dried fruit, prunes, sherry wood, spices, some nutmeg, cinnamon, acacia honey, tobacco, molasses and chocolate with a long and warm finish.
