A rare vintage 1983 19 year old Glenfarclas Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky from The Spirit of Independence bottling series from selected sherry casks with a beautiful amber colour exclusively for the German market. For this fine vintage whisky, selected sherry casks were filled at Glenfarclas on 9th March 1983 and, after more than 19 years of maturation, bottled on 16th December 2002 with the old distillery label in an edition of 1.200 individually numbered bottles without the addition of colourants and chill-filtration at 43.0% vol. and presented in the classic wooden box.
The vintage 1983 19 years Glenfarclas Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky shows fine orange notes and wood tones on the nose, with spicy, dry wood notes, pepper, orange peel, vanilla and honey on the palate, the finish is long and warm with spicy oak and pepper - a surprisingly powerful old-school Glenfarclas Highland single malt scotch whisky and rare expression from the early 1980s in extraordinary quality, complex, absolutely first-class and special recommendation for connoisseurs, the discerning whisky collector and lovers of fine old Scotch whiskies.
