A great vintage 1985 33-year-old Glenfarclas Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the limited Family Casks Release Summer 2018 and special bottling from a selected refill sherry hogshead. For this, Glenfarclas filled a selected sherry hogshead with cask no. 2601 in the year 1985. The distillate was matured in the cask for 33 years and was bottled as a limited summer release S18 in a limited edition of only 292 bottles on 2nd July 2018 without the addition of colourants and chill filtration at cask strength 43.6% ABV.
The world-famous and unique single cask whiskies from the Glenfarclas Family Casks series contains selected single cask bottlings from various vintages, spanning 54 years without gaps since the early 1950s and is an exquisite collection of the best single casks from the old cask cellar of the Glenfarclas distillery.
