A fine vintage 1989 26 year old Glenfarclas Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky, distilled in December 1989 and bottled after 26 years of maturation in selected Oloroso sherry casks with the cask nos.: 12820, 12831, 13014, 25670 on 18th August 2016 in the Christmas limited edition range in an edition of 1.200 individually numbered bottles without the addition of colourants and chill filtration at 46.0% vol.
This Glenfarclas Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the annual Christmas limited edition series shines with fine sherry with beautiful oak notes and a long finish - a beautiful expression of a wonderful Highland single malt for connoisseurs, whisky collectors and lovers of fine old Scotch whiskies.
- Nose: complex, clear oak, walnut, light citrus, oranges, and sweet with raisins, milk chocolate and caramel
- Palate: slightly spicy with oak, mild and sweet with oranges, toffee, vanilla, milk chocolate and raisins
- Finish: long, mild and dry with pleasant Bitterness, oak, dark chocolate, espresso, bitter almonds and a hint of orange
