A rare vintage 1990 27 years old Glenfarclas Scotch Whisky from the limited Family Casks Winter 2017 series and special bottling from a selected 1st fill sherry butt. For this, a selected sherry butt with cask no. 9255 was filled at Glenfarclas in 1990, allowed to mature in the cask for 27 years and was bottled in an edition of only 596 bottles without the addition of dyes and chill filtration on 7th November 2017 at cask strength 51.2% vol. as Winter release W17.
The world-famous and unique single casks whiskies from the Glenfarclas Family Casks series contains selected single cask bottlings from various vintages, spanning 54 years without gaps since the early 1950s and is an exquisite collection of the best single casks from the old cask cellar of the Glenfarclas distillery.
