A rare vintage 1972 40 years-old Glenglassaugh Highland Single Cask Scotch Whisky, distilled on 22th December 1972 and after 40 years of maturation in a refill sherry butt, bottled on 22th January 2013 in an edition of only 300 individually hand numbered bottles without added dyes and chill filtration at cask strength 43.1% vol.
This exceptional Highland single malt was bottled exclusively for the German market in the year 2013 under the label of the C and S Dram Exceptional single cask range by The Scottish Liqueur Centre Ltd, which has since been taken over by Morrison and MacKay Whisky Merchants, and provided with a label by the Scottish artist Ian Gray, who lives in Germany, showing the stills of the Glassaugh distillery.
