This rare and terrific vintage 1971 27 year-old Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky was distilled in 1971 and, after 27 years of maturation in a selected Spanish sherry oak cask with the cask no. 4855, was bottled in the year 1998 in the Lang Brothers single cask 1 limited edition series without the addition of colourants and chill-filtration in a limited edition at natural cask strength 56.2% ABV.
This extremely successful and exceptional old-style vintage 1971 26 years Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is presented in a wooden box. It is one of only four known vintage 1971 bottlings from the Highland distillery Glengoyne and is considered by connoisseurs to be absolutely outstanding.
