This rare vintage 1992 16 year old Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky was distilled in 1992, matured for many years in oak casks and finished in selected Glenguin Shiraz casks before being bottled in the year 2008 as a special edition without added colouring and chill-filtration at 48.0% vol. in a limited edition of 3.800 individually numbered bottles.
This fine Glengoyne Highland single malt scotch whisky was bottled to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the distillery's name change and to commemorate Lord Robin Tedder, the third Baron of Glenguin. Glenguin is the original name of the Glengoyne distillery and to mark the occasion, 20 empty Glenguin Shiraz casks from Australia's Hunter Valley were filled with 16-year-old Glengoyne single malt and ten were eventually selected for bottling to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the name change.
