The celebrated British designer Tom Dixon (OBE) created the Limited Edition Design Johnnie Walker Blue Label Capsule series, which was first presented as a preview at the elegant Teatro Manzoni during Dixon s exhibition at Milan Design Week in April 2017. Inspired by the rarity, craftsmanship and tradition of this luxurious Scottish whisky, the exclusive Johnnie Walker Blue Label Capsule series features a bespoke and unique bottle design. The copper colour accents in the limited edition are characteristic of Dixon s contemporary designs and at the same time an allusion to the art of whisky making, in which copper pot stills are used to distill the whisky. In the year 2016, Dixon created a unique art installation with Johnnie Walker Blue Label bottles, which attracted a lot of attention at the time.
