A very rare vintage 1988 25 years old Macallan Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, which was distilled in May 1988 and after more than 25 years of maturation in a refilll hogshead bottled in November 2013 in a limited edition of only 285 bottles for the 15th anniversary of the Old Malt Cask Edition by Hunter Laing without the addition of dyes and chill filtration at natural cask strength 51.4% abv. In the Fifteenth Anniversary Edition of the Old Malt Cask Series Hunter Laing presented in the year 2013 only 6 selected and outstanding single malts from Aberlour, Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Glen Scotia, Macallan and Tamdhu in a decorative wooden box in limited editions.
