This extremely rare vintage 1990 Macallan Single Malt Scotch Whisky comes from the Exceptional Single Cask series from Macallan, which was launched in the year 1999 to 2004 in 6 limited editions, in this edition absolutely first-class single-cask whiskys from fino, oloroso and sherry butt were bottled in a limited edition with an age of almost 14 to over 24 years.
The Macallan Exceptional Single Cask 6 has exclusively been bottled for Fassbind AG in Switzerland in a limited edition of 830 bottles without the addition of dyes in Cask Strength at 59.6% ABV. The whisky was filled on 21 December 1990 in a selected Sherry-Butt with the Cask number: 24483, the Nosing by whisky maker Bob Dolgamo took place on 13 June 2004, the transfer and filling into the intermediate storage on 16 November 2004 and the bottling took place after almost 14 years of maturation in Warehouse No. 46 on 20 November 2004.
