An extremely rare vintage 1972 42 year old Macallan Speymalt Scotch Whisky from Gordon and MacPhail, matured for 42 years in 1st fill sherry casks and bottled on 12th May 2014 in limited edition at 43.0% vol. The world-renowned and independent bottler Gordon and MacPhail has the most extensive stock of particularly old Macallan single malts, including casks from the 1940s, and has been bottling these exquisite up to 70-year-old whiskies under the name Speymalt since the year 1994. Some of these great old Macallan single malt Scotch whiskies, matured mainly in sherry casks, are considered almost legendary and are among the special rarities on the market today.
