A rare vintage 1994 13 Years old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey with 47.0% Vol. and the 7th release from the year 2007 of the limited Birthday Edition of the Brown-Forman Distillery in Kentucky. The Barrels were stored on the 7 th floor of Warehouse H, where they were exposed to extremely warm temperatures and dry conditions. This vintage is a balance between the 2006 and 2007 expressions. While 2005 had heavy cinnamon and baking spice notes, and 2006 had a pronounced mint note, 2007 represents the best of these two years, with a mint note that cools the warm cinnamon spice.
The result is an excellent bourbon whiskey, which was awarded for its quality in 2007 at the WhiskeyFest New York as American Whiskey Of The Year and was awarded with the Santé Gold Star by the Santé magazine. Among connoisseurs and collectors, the whiskeys from Brown-Forman s Birthday Collection are regarded worldwide as absolutely first-class whiskeys and are now among the coveted Straight Bourbon whiskeys. A very special piece of whiskey history, not to be found in Europe at all and a special Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskey for collectors, connoisseurs and lovers of first-class Bourbon whiskeys which was awarded 98 points by the wine enthusiast.
