A rare old bottling of the coveted Aberlour A'bunadh Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the famous A'bunadh limited bottling series, which was bottled in the year 1999 with the old equipment as batch no. 6 without the addition of colorants and chill filtration at cask strength 59.9% ABV in a limited edition. The magnificent Aberlour A'bunadh Batch No. 6 Speyside Single Malt was matured exclusively in 5 to 25-year-old Spanish Oloroso sherry butt casks, which give it its deep mahogany colour and exceptional character. The word A'Bunadh comes from Gaelic and can be translated as authentic or original.
The old and magnificent Aberlour A'bunadh Batch No. 6 Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky has wonderful aromas of dark fruits, strong sherry, vanilla, oak and honey on the nose, the taste is sweet and dry with Oloroso sherry, pepper, vanilla, red berries, spices and nuts. The finish is long and woody with sherry and spices - a remarkable and great old Aberlour Single Malt Scotch Whisky!
