A very rare vintage 1975 28 years-old Banff Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the famous Rarest of the Rare cask strength closed distilleries historic collection by Duncan Taylor, which was distilled in November 1975 and after over 28 years of maturation in a oak cask with cask no. 3415 bottled in October 2004 without the addition of dyes and chill filtration in a batch of only 240 individually numbered bottles at cask strength 41.4% vol. This stunning 28 years-old Banff Highland single cask scotch whisky has a beautiful amber colour and is a delight due to its maturity and complexity.
The single malt scotch whiskies offered by Duncan Taylor from 2004 to 2012 in the Rarest of the Rare cask strength historic collection comes all from closed distilleries such as Ayrshire, Banff, Caperdonich, Glen Albyn, Glencraig, Glenlochy, Glenugie, Glenury Royal, Inverleven, Kinclaith, Linlithgow, Mosstowie, North Port, Pittyvaich, Port Ellen and are a part of Abe Rosenberg's since the early 1960s expertly acquired casks.
