This rare Bowmore Voyage Islay single malt Scotch whisky was matured in bourbon casks, then finished in selected ruby port casks and bottled in the year 2000 in an edition of 12,000 individually numbered bottles without chill-filtration at cask strength 56.0% vol. The maturation in the port cask gives the whisky a variety of sweet flavours such as violets, plums, chocolate and notes of citrus fruits.
A now rarely available Bowmore Islay single malt Scotch whisky in the old design and rare expression for connoisseurs, the discerning whisky collector and lovers of fine old Scotch whiskies.
