A rare vintage 1996 12 year old Caol Ila Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky from a European oak sherry cask with the cask number 19313 as a limited special bottling at cask strength 58,0% abv for the Festival Fèis Ìle 2009. This outstanding Caol Ila Single Cask Scotch Whisky was distilled on 18th December 1996 and after more than 12 years of maturation in European oak sherry cask no. 19313 was personally selected by Billy Stitchell from the Caol Ila Warehouse. It was only available on the distillery s open day in a limited edition of only 664 individually numbered bottles and sold out within a very short time.
With one of the outstanding Feis Ile bottlings from Caol Ila, one of the few single cask bottlings from Caol Ila and an absolutely terrific Islay single malt for connoisseurs, whisky-collectors and lovers of first-class and exceptional Scotch whiskies!
