This extremely rare vintage 1971 32 year old Clynelish Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky was distilled in 1971, matured for 32 years in a selected oak cask with the cask no. 2704 and was bottled in the year 2006 with the old Jack and Jack label by Jack Wieber in the Auld Distillers Collection in a limited edition of only 102 bottles with no added colouring or chill filtration at cask strength 55.5% vol.
Jack Wiebers Whisky World: Lars-Göran Wiebers, who is actually just called Jack in the scene, is a German whisky importer from Berlin and has been very successfully marketing his own whisky bottlings from the renowned distilleries since 1999 and has brought different series and some globally sought-after bottlings onto the market. His fame began for many connoisseurs and aficionados with the Scottish Castle series, of which the final edition was unfortunately launched in mid-2013. In the meantime, the series The Cross Hill, Auld Distillers Collection, Prenzlow Portfolio Collection, Old Train Line, Gentle Noses and the Great Ocean Liners as well as Old Passenger Liners have reached a certain level of fame and the mostly small editions with the partly unusual and eye-catching labels are sold out within a short time. The special Bowmore series Wanted, with which a celebrity of the whisky scene is always sought on the label, provided plenty of discussion.
