This rare and terrific vintage 1993 26 year old Glendronach Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky was distilled on 9th July 1993, matured for over 26 years in a selected Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheon with the cask no. 7405 and was bottled in November 2019 in the Glendronach Single Cask Limited Release series exclusively for the 20th Anniversary of the Whisky Exchange without the addition of colouring and chill-filtration at cask strength 52.9% vol. in an edition of only 716 individually hand-numbered bottles.
Each year, Master Distiller Billy Walker selects a handful of individual casks from Glendronach's warehouses and bottles them for special retailers and renowned whisky merchants in the Glendronach Limited Release Single Cask Bottling Series. With exclusive Glendronach whiskies dating back to 1968, there is a wide selection of barrels, hogsheads, puncheons and butts. Each of these exquisite casks has truly remarkable characteristics and the malt whisky they contain has developed exceptionally well during the long maturation process.
