A rare and fantastic vintage 1979 38 year old Glenfarclas Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the Glenfarclas The Family Casks Winter 2017 single cask series and special bottling from a selected 4th fill hogshead. For this, Glenfarclas filled a selected hogshead with cask no. 8797 in 1979, the new make was matured in the cask for 38 years and was bottled in a limited edition of only 220 bottles on 2nd November 2017 without the addition of colourants and chill-filtration at cask strength 47.9% vol. as a limited winter release W17.
