A rare and terrific vintage 1989 29 year old Glenfarclas Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the Glenfarclas limited Family Casks Summer 2018 single cask series and special bottling from a selected first fill sherry butt. For this, Glenfarclas filled a selected sherry butt with cask no. 13005 in 1989, the distillate matured in the cask for 29 years and was bottled in an edition of 449 bottles on 3rd July 2018 without the addition of colourants and chill-filtration at cask strength 52.3% vol. as a limited summer release S18.
The world-famous and unique single cask whiskies from the Glenfarclas Family Casks series contains selected single cask bottlings from various vintages, spanning 54 years without gaps since the early 1950s and is an exquisite collection of the best single casks from the old cask cellar of the Glenfarclas distillery.
