This rare and special vintage 1990 24 year old Glenfarclas Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is no. 19 in the special limited edition range for George Buchanan from the year 2015. The Glenfarclas Highland single malt was distilled in 1990, matured for 24 years in selected Oloroso sherry casks with the cask nos. 6443, 9251, 10423-27 and was bottled in the year 2015 without the addition of colourants and chill filtration in a limited edition of 2.400 individually numbered bottles at 46.0% vol.
Since 1996, Glenfarclas has released a series of limited edition bottlings and each bottling is dedicated to a famous Scottish figure in history. The series continues to this day, each bottling is limited and usually sold out within a very short time.
