This rare vintage 1990 26-year-old Glenfarclas Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is number 21 in the Glenfarclas special limited rare bottling series, released in 2017 in honour of the Scottish essayist, historian and philosopher Thomas Carlyle. Through his dedicated work, including his translation of Goethes *Wilhelm Meister* and a biography of Schiller, Thomas Carlyle made a significant contribution to fostering understanding between British and German culture.
The exclusive vintage 1990 26 years Glenfarclas Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky was distilled in 1990 and matured for 26 years in selected sherry casks with the cask nos. 1195, 9472, 9520-9527 in the dark, cool cellars of the Glenfarclas warehouse, and was bottled in 2017 in a limited edition of 3,000 individually numbered bottles without the addition of colouring or chill filtration at 46.0% ABV.
