This rare and marvellous vintage 1971 26 year-old Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky was distilled on 15th December 1971 and, after more than 26 years of maturation in a selected Spanish sherry oak cask with the cask no. 4678, was bottled in the year 1998 in the Lang Brothers single cask 1 limited edition series without the addition of colourants and chill-filtration in a limited edition of only 594 bottles at natural cask strength 57.0% ABV.
This extremely successful and exceptional old-style vintage 1971 26 years Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is presented in a wooden box with an acrylic glass front. It is one of only four known vintage 1971 bottlings from the Highland distillery Glengoyne and is considered by connoisseurs to be absolutely outstanding.
