The result is a harmonious, smooth and well-balanced 21-year-old Macallan Fine Oak Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, with great elegance and complexity; it is a successful blend of the three different cask types and possesses a character all of its own. The 21-year Macallan Fine Oak Triple Cask Matured Bourbon and Sherry Oak Casks Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky has a light amber colour and presents itself on the nose as intense and rich with creamy oak notes, vanilla, passion fruit, milk chocolate and wood; the palate is soft, rich and spicy with dark chocolate, toffee, apricots, oranges, espresso, oak spice and subtle smoke; the finish is long with oak spice, vanilla, caramel, oranges and wood smoke - a magnificent old Macallan Highland Single Malt and a wonderful combination of old casks!
