The combination of American oak casks in which bourbon or sherry was matured before and casks of European oak in which sherry was matured, give the special Macallan Fine Oak Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky floral aromas with apple and citrus notes and the sweetness of toffee with dried fruit and spice accents convince. The result is a particularly smooth and mellow Macallan single malt with great complexity and a bright amber colour.
