An superlative 1966 vintage 48 years-old Macallan Speymalt Scotch Whisky with a long maturing period in selected 1st Fill Sherry Butt and a beautiful dark amber color, which was bottled by Gordon and MacPhail in the Speymalt range in a limited edition on 29th January 2014. Gordon and MacPhail are the only people outside the distillery who still have casks of Macallan at this sort of age. This 1966s Macallan single malt is a superbly aged and now considered a rarity with particularly pronounced sherry notes.
