A rare vintage 1995 13 Years old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey with 47.0% Vol. and the 8th release from the year 2008 of the limited Birthday Edition of the Brown-Forman Distillery in Kentucky. Barrels were all selected from the 6th floor of Warehouse H, an upper floor where heat builds. This made for a more robust, complex flavor profile. The taste is a combination of caramelized oak, ripe apple; vanilla and toasted coconut grace the palate.
The result is an excellent bourbon whiskey, which was awarded the Five Star Rating Highest Recommendation by the Spirit Journal for its quality in 2009. Among connoisseurs and collectors, the whiskeys from Brown-Forman s Birthday Collection are regarded worldwide as absolutely first-class whiskeys and are now among the coveted Straight Bourbon whiskeys.
