A very rare vintage 1995 over 13 year old Old Forester Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey at 47.0% vol. and the 8th release from the year 2008 of the limited Birthday Edition from the Brown-Forman distillery in Louisville, Kentucky. The barrels for this bourbon whiskey were all selected from the 6th floor of warehouse H, an upper floor where the heat is first generated. This resulted in a more robust, complex flavour profile. The flavour is a combination of caramelised oak, ripe apple, vanilla and toasted coconut. The result is an outstanding 13 years Old Forester Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, which was awarded the Five Star Rating Highest Recommendation by the Spirit Journal in 2009 for its quality.
