A rare vintage 1981 18 Years Port Ellen Islay single malt Scotch whisky at 43.0% abv as winter distillation of a sherry cask from the McGibbons Provenance Edition by Douglas McGibbon from autumn 2000. From the year 2000 until 2015, Douglas McGibbon has produced special single malts from selected distilleries in The McGibbon Provenance Edition such as Ardbeg, Auchentoshan, Balmenach, Ben Nevis, Bowmore, Bruichladdich, Bunnahabhain, Caol Ila, Clynelish, Cragganmore, Dalmore, Glen Grant, Glenburgie, Glenlivet, Highland Park, Inchgower, Laphroaig, Linkwood, Macallan, Mortlach, Port Ellen, Rosebank, Strathisla, Tobermory and many other well-known distilleries in limited editions.
