A rare and special 12 years old Suntory Yamazaki Pure Malt Japanese Whisky and early bottling from the renowned and multi-award winning Yamazaki distillery as a Japan import with Japanese backlabel, bottled in the early 1990s by Suntory Limited at 75cl for the Japanese market. The early Yamazaki bottlings were called Suntory Pure Malt Whisky and the Yamazaki distillery was indicated in small print on the bottom right of the label.
This 12-year-old Japanese single malt whisky impresses above all with its delicious sherry and chocolate flavours, is one of the best-known bottlings from Suntory Yamazaki and has received several awards worldwide for its quality.
A special piece of Japanese whisky history from the oldest distillery in Japan - especially the early Pure Malt bottlings by Yamazaki are rarely found today and are particularly sought after among collectors and connoisseurs.
