Dieser Vintage 2001 14 Jahre alter Bowmore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky stammt von einem durch Kirsch Whisky persönlich bei Signatory Vintage ausgewählten Refill Sherry Butt mit der Cask No. 1373 und wurde im Rahmen der inzwischen bei Kennern und Sammlern bekannten Single Cask Seasons Edition für den Winter 2015 in Fassstärke mit 55,4% Vol. ohne Zusatz von Farbstoffen exclusiv in einer Auflage von 641 Flaschen abgefüllt.
Nach der Destillation verbrachte das Destillat für 14 Jahre eine langsame Reifung in einem Refill Sherry Butt, bevor es schließlich abgefüllt wurde. Dies ist ein feiner Bowmore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky in seiner natürlichen Form, von der Gerste, seine Reifung und in die Flasche. Das Ergebnis ist ein Bowmore Single Malt mit hellem Gold in der Farbe, die Aromen sind voll - kandierte Früchte, Toffee und Marzipan, zusammen in der markanten Bowmore Rauchigkeit eingebunden. Am Gaumen ist er überraschend delikat mit einem Hauch von Vanille, Beerenobst und leichtem Torf. Der Abgang ist leicht, elegant und sanft.

This vintage 2001 14-year-old Bowmore Islay single malt Scotch whisky comes from a refill sherry butt personally selected by Kirsch Whisky at Signatory Vintage with the cask no. 1373 and was bottled exclusively in an edition of 641 bottles without the addition of colourants under the now well-known Single Cask Seasons Edition for the winter of 2015 at cask strength with 55.4% vol.
After distillation, the distillate spent 14 years slowly maturing in a refill sherry butt before finally being bottled. This is a fine Bowmore Islay single malt Scotch whisky in its natural form, from the barley, its maturation and into the bottle. The result is a Bowmore single malt with pale gold in colour, the aromas are full - candied fruit, toffee and marzipan, tied together in the distinctive Bowmore smokiness. The palate is surprisingly delicate with hints of vanilla, berry fruit and light peat. The finish is light, elegant and smooth.
